Welcome

Welcome to the Net Price Calculator!

We are happy you are beginning to explore how to plan and pay for your college education. Using the Net Price Calculator, you can get an estimate of the amount of financial aid you may be offered if you are accepted as a freshman to Brandeis.

Younger students and their families can use this tool to learn about college costs and receive early financial aid information.  You can create "what if" scenarios based on your expected family income and expenses, and start to plan and save well before applying to college.

When you're ready to begin, you can sign in with your College Board user name and password or use the calculator as a guest. The advantage of signing in is that the information you enter will be saved in your account, so you can use it again and again to calculate your net price at other colleges of interest.

Things to Keep in Mind:

  • The Net Price Calculator is designed to give you an early estimate of how much and what types of financial aid you might qualify for if you were a domestic (non-international) college freshman attending Brandeis in the academic year indicated.  Please note that Brandeis University has the final word on determining your actual financial aid award.
  • This is not an application for admission or financial aid.
  • The results will only be as reliable as the data you provide.  We recommend that you have copies of your and your parent(s)' most recent tax returns available prior to getting started.
  • You must complete the full financial aid application by February 1 (regular decision) of the year you plan to attend college.  For more information about deadlines and required documents, please visit our website at http://www.brandeis.edu/sfs/finaid/filing.html
  • This calculator is not designed to estimate financial aid for families in which the parents are separated or divorced.  In cases of divorce or separation, Brandeis requires financial information for both the custodial parent and the non-custodial parent (the parent with whom the student does not live).  This calculator will only estimate the contribution from the student and the custodial parent.
  • This calculator may not be accurate for families who own one or more real estate properties, are self employed, or own all or part of an S-Corporation, U.S. Corporation or Partnership.

This tool will estimate your family's "Expected Family Contribution" or EFC.  The difference between your EFC and our cost of attendance is your family's financial need. Brandeis will meet 100% of your family's need through a combination of grants, loans and work study.

When you're ready to begin, you can sign in with your College Board user name and password or use the calculator as a guest. The advantage of signing in is that the information you enter will be saved in your account, so you can use it again and again to calculate your net price at other colleges of interest.
