MARYGROVE COLLEGE IS AFFORDABLE

At Marygrove College, we understand that how to pay for your education is an important part of the decision-making process when choosing your college.  Marygrove College is committed to making a high quality education affordable and achievable.

Prospective students who file the 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 15th, have a high school GPA of 3.00 or better and show demonstrated financial need as determined by the FAFSA may qualify for federal, state and institutional financial assistance (that does not include student loans ) of between 60-100% of tuition costs.

Using the Net Price Calculator is an excellent tool in estimating your potential financial aid eligibility at Marygrove College.  To speak to someone about available scholarships and grants, the financial aid process or the admissions process, please feel free to contact us at (313) 927-1240.

How does it work? The calculator measures the financial strength of your family and uses other facts you provide to estimate the amount of grants, scholarships and other financial aid that is likely to be available to you. Your "net price" is the difference between that amount and the cost of attendance.

The Net Price Calculator measures the financial strength of your family and uses other information you provide to estimate the amount of grants, scholarships and other financial aid that is likely to be available to you. Your "net price" is the difference between the amount of estimated financial aid and the estimated cost of attendance.

The calculator is designed to give you an early indication of how much and what types of financial aid you might qualify for if you were a college freshman attending Marygrove College full-time in the academic year indicated. It is a tool which we hope will give you a clear picture of options and opportunities so you can make more informed decisions about your college choices.

As you use the calculator, please remember:

1.  This is not an application for admission or financial aid.

2.  The results will be as reliable as the data you provide.

3.  The net price calculator will only give you an ESTIMATE of your net price and financial aid eligibility.

Completing the calculator should take no more than 20 minutes of your time—probably a lot less. You will need to provide some basic information regarding your and your parents' finances so it may be helpful to have recent tax forms, pay stubs and/or W2s on hand before you begin.

Colleges have different resources and financial aid policies, so your "net price" will vary from institution to institution. Also, special circumstances are considered by financial aid offices on a case-by-case basis. If your situation is unusual, you may want to contact the financial aid office at the colleges to which you are admitted.
