Welcome to the Net Price Calculator

Welcome to Montreat College's Net Price Calculator! We're happy you are beginning to explore how to plan and pay for your college education. We will help you every step of the way. Using the net price calculator, you can find out your eligibility for financial aid and estimate your out-of-pocket expenses. When you're ready to begin, you can sign in with your College Board user name and password or use the calculator as a guest.

  • How does it work? The calculator measures the financial strength of your family and uses other facts you provide to estimate the amount of grants, scholarships and other financial aid that is likely to be available to you. Your "net price" is the difference between that amount and the cost of attendance. The Net Price Calculator is intended for use with U.S citizens in our traditional, full-time undergraduate program only. It is not intended to be used by returning, adult & graduate, or international students.

As you use the calculator, please remember:

  1. This is not an application for admission or financial aid.
  2. The results will only be as reliable as the data you provide.
  3. The net price calculator will only give you an estimate of your net price and aid eligibility. The financial aid office has the final word on your financial aid award.
  4. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for, and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes federal grants, loans, or work-study assistance. You may submit the FAFSA in October of your senior year in high school.

Completing the calculator should take no more than 20 minutes of your time. You will need to answer some basic questions about your parents' financial situation so it might be helpful to have recent tax forms or pay stubs on hand before you begin.
