Welcome

Welcome to the Scripps College Net Price Calculator! We are happy you are beginning to explore how to plan and pay for college. This tool will provide you with an early estimate of your need-based financial aid, and your out-of-pocket expenses. All calculations are based on the costs for the 2012-2013 academic year.  As you use the calculator, please remember the following:

The results are dependent on the accuracy of the data you and your family provide.  There will be some basic questions about parental information, so it would be helpful to have recent tax forms and pay stubs available.

  • Results are not guaranteed and are an estimate of the need-based aid you might be eligible to receive. Recipients of merit-based awards are determined by the Scripps College Admission Committee.
  • This is not an application for financial aid.
  • Scripps College will not save, share or use this information in any way.
  • This tool is intended for U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.

Even if you are not going to college in the near future, the Net Price Calculator will still be helpful.  Younger students and their parents can use this tool to learn about college costs and receive early financial aid information.  You can create “what if” scenarios based on expected family income and anticipated expenses, and start to plan and save well before applying to college.
